Available options
Fun fishing is a relaxed introduction to fishing in Madeira, usually spending around four hours along the coast and around reefs and deeper drop-offs. It works well for beginners, families or anyone who simply wants to enjoy a few hours fishing at sea.
Big-game fishing heads further offshore in search of larger species such as marlin, tuna and wahoo. These trips are private and can range from a half-day to a full day.
Which experience makes most sense will depend on your group, fishing experience and how much time you want to spend on the water.
How we'll help you choose
Tell us when you would like to go, who is travelling and whether you are looking for a relaxed fishing trip or something more focused on big-game fishing.
We’ll help you find the right trip based on your experience, group and how much time you would like to spend at sea.
We can also check availability, departure times and what is included for you.
Pickup & meeting
Fishing trips normally depart from the marina area in Funchal.
We’ll send you the exact meeting point and departure time once your trip is confirmed.
Plan to arrive around 20 minutes early so there is enough time for check-in before heading out.
