I’m Yessica, a local host and the person behind Find Your Madeira. I created this platform to help visitors make the most of their time on the island.
Having lived in different countries myself, I always tried to bring my friends over and of course, they would ask me things like: What should we see? Which experiences are worth it? Where should we go? They always seemed to enjoy my recommendations, so I decided to combine that with my experience as a host and create Find Your Madeira.
I really enjoy sharing tips and helping people discover the island, so if you need a recommendation, just ask.
Whether you’re looking for a great hike, a boat trip, a private transfer or something a little different, I’ll do my best to point you towards the right experience or provider.

Years of hosting
Hosting visitors has shown me the questions people ask and the little things that can make a stay better.
We started with a simple guide
We first created a practical Madeira itinerary for our own guests — this is the kind of guide I wished I had if I were visiting the island. It brought together the places we love, the island’s must-sees, a few hidden gems and the local favourites we kept recommending again and again.
What began as a simple guide soon became something else. Our guests really valued the extra help and started getting in touch more often, asking for recommendations, ideas and advice during their stay. I have always enjoyed helping people discover Madeira, so that naturally grew into what Find Your Madeira is today.
That same idea is still at the heart of every conversation we have: useful information, recommendations we genuinely believe in and personal help whenever you need it.
